South Florida vs Northern Illinois 2010 International Bowl Picks & Predictions: This year’s 2010 International Bowl Picks & Predictions will feature the (7-5) South Florida Bulls [-7] taking on the sports betting odds underdog (7-5) Northern Illinois Huskies [+7]. It will be the first year these two teams play at the International bowl, which kicks off on the second day of the New Year.

For those of you interested in betting on the OVER/UNDER, 2010 International Bowl Picks & Predictions experts at SBGGLOBAL.com believe the Bulls and the Huskies will combine for 48½ points on the board.

The South Florida Bulls will be playing their fifth Bowl game and are coming off a 41-14 victory over Memphis in the 2008 St. Petersburg Bowl. The Bulls are 2-2 in Bowl games.

"They're very talented," South Florida coach Jim Leavitt said of the Huskies' two-pronged ground attack. "They get it, they understand how to run the ball and they're very good at it. They've got a tremendous line and their running backs are awfully good. It'll be a great challenge for us."

As for the Huskies, the 2010 International Bowl Picks & Predictions will be their fourth bowl appearance in six years. NIU last played in the Independence Bowl and were defeated by Louisiana Tech, 17-10.

"It's the first time that NIU will be in back-to-back bowl games as an FBS school, which is a huge accomplishment for our seniors and another step forward for our program," Huskies coach Jerry Kill stated on the team’s official site. "This is a tremendous opportunity for our program versus a tremendous opponent as we know South Florida is a very good football program. It will be a great challenge for our team."

The Huskies and Bulls will be meetings for the third time and as of now are tied a game each. The first game played was in 2001, when the Bulls first became a Division I-A team. The Huskies were able to get a last second field goal, getting the 20-17 win. In 2002, South Florida took over and defeated the Huskies 37-6.
