Green Bay Packers vs Arizona Cardinals 2010 NFL Playoff Odds, Picks & Predictions: The (11-5) Green Bay Packers [-1.5] and the (10-6) Arizona Cardinals [+1.5] will meet for their second consecutive game, but now there is a lot more on the line. These teams will be on the same field, University of Phoenix Stadium, in Arizona but this time they are in the 2010 NFL Playoff Odds, Picks & Predictions and quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Kurt Warner will be going head to head.
Last Sunday’s outcome had the Green Bay Packers on top with a final score of 33-7. Packers’ Coach Mike McCarthy walked into the regular season finale with a strict game plan. The OVER/UNDER is set at 47.5 points. "We wanted to come out here to win the game, keep our razor sharp and gain some momentum going into the playoffs," McCarthy said. "It didn't matter who we were playing. I understand Arizona had a different agenda. … We like the way we played the last eight weeks and it was very important for us to maximize this opportunity."
McCarthy had Aaron Rodgers and most of his key players compete in just about three quarters. Rodgers will come into this week’s playoffs game after finishing fourth in the league with 4,434 yards passing as well as becoming the first NFL player to throw for 4,000 in his first two seasons as a starter.
Arizona’s head coach Ken Whisenhunt’s game plan was quite the opposite last Sunday. He was very careful with his players, only leaving Quarterback Kurt Warner in the game for two series before bringing in Matt Leinart.
"We stuck with our plan, what we intended to do," Whisenhunt said. "That's difficult, especially when the score got the way it did. Hopefully, that will help us this week. Ultimately, that's what the most important thing is."
Despite having played the Cardinals last Sunday, Rodgers knows that the Packers were holding back. "It's going to be a different game for sure," Rodgers said. "They're going to play way different on defense. We're going to play different on offense."
