Donte Stallworth Driving Drunk at Time of Fatal Accident? In the case of the Cleveland Browns wide receiver that struck and killed a pedestrian, The Miami Herald and other local news outlets have leaked information indicating that Donte Stallworth was Driving Drunk at Time of Fatal Accident. On Thursday, WSVN-TV reported that unnamed sources with knowledge of the investigation said Stallworth's blood-alcohol level was between .08 and .16 at the time the fatal accident occurred. In the state of Florida, the legal alcohol limit is .08. Then, The Miami Herald cited an unnamed source as saying that Stallworth's blood-alcohol level was above the legal limit. Even though no formal charged have been filed against the 28-year-old receiver, if Stallworth was in fact driving drunk, he could get hit with DUI manslaughter, which carries a maximum 15-year prison sentence. It’s worth noting that authorities have yet to release any blood tests pertaining to this case. The Miami Beach Police Department refused to confirm the reports and now so has Stallworth’s attorney, Christopher Lyons. On Saturday, Lyons said that neither police nor the state attorney's office have released the results of toxicology tests. They have not said specifically when they will be released.
