Donte Stallworth Charged with DUI Manslaughter: The ongoing investigation in the case of Cleveland Browns, receiver Donte Stallworth and the death of a pedestrian in Miami Beach, FL, will soon be coming to and end and charges will be filed as early as Wednesday, according to various reports.

According to one report, "two people said an arrest warrant charging the 28-year-old Stallworth with DUI manslaughter" has been filed Wednesday in the March 14 accident that killed 59-year-old Mario Reyes. The people requested anonymity.

The DUI manslaughter charge carries a possible 15-year prison sentence, as Stallworth's blood-alcohol test revealed the wide receiver was in fact intoxicated at the time of the fatal accident.

According to the authorities, Stallworth’s alcohol level was detected to be at .12, moments after striking Reyes with his Bentley. Florida's legal limit is currently .08.

In addition, Stallworth will also be charged with DUI, according to the people informed about the case. He is expected to surrender in court Thursday, and released a statement last month saying he was "grief-stricken" over the accident.

According to the Miami Beach police, Reyes was not in a crosswalk on busy MacArthur Causeway when he was struck and killed. The construction crane operator had just finished working an overnight “graveyard shift” and was trying to catch a bus home to get home to his family at around 7:15 AM.

According to other reports, Stallworth was quoted as saying that he flashed his lights at Reyes in an attempt to warn him. It is belived that Stallworth was not only driving drunk, but was also speeding, going at least 50 mph in a 40 mph zone.
