Disastrous, disappointing, ill-fated - welcome to the Baltimore Ravens 2007 season. Yes, the purple and black befuddled pundits and fans alike on their way to a 5-11 finish. The year went so poorly that long tenured, narcissistic Head Coach Brian Billick was summarily shown the door. The 2008 season will mark a new direction for the team as secondary coach John Harbaugh was handed the reins. Management continued to show their lack of faith in quarterback Kyle Boller by drafting highly touted Delaware QB Joe Flacco. Flacco will certainly be groomed by the coaching staff to be the starter sooner rather than later. The team also added wrecking ball running back Ray Rice out of Rutgers, further solidifying their backfield. Baltimore is looking up a pretty steep hill and at the top of it is a tough Steelers team.
