BodogLife.com has very interesting NFL Players Props for the 2008 regular season: What conference will the leading receiver come from?

After the arrest, police searched the car and found a large plastic bag filled with cocaine, and a jar with Marijuana residue. The betting odds that the Jax Jaguars' conference, AFC, will produce the NFL's 2008 regular season leading receiver: -240.

The 25-year-old Jaguars receiver, Jones, and two others (Jared Hicks and Benjamin Cook) were arrested early Thursday morning, and hit with multiple counts of felony and misdemeanor drug charges. The betting odds that the NFC will produce the NFL's 2008 regular season leading receiver: +190.

According to the police report, when officers approached the car and Jones failed to immediately show his hands, one of the officers was forced to draw and point his handgun at Jones.

At the Washington County jail, Matt Jones’ bond was set at $2,500. Jones’ arraignment has been scheduled for August 11, 2008, two days after the Jacksonville Jaguars’ first preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ owner, Wayne Weaver, was reluctant to comment on the arrest until he learned all the details of the case: “We’re trying to investigate that now… We don’t have all the facts. We will comment on that once we have all the facts.”
