Erin Andrews Returns to ESPN College GameDay: College football fans will be glad to know that there will be a friendly face this upcoming fall. ESPN’s fan favorite reporter Erin Andrews has signed a new deal with the network, where Andrews will be a part of College GameDay preview show as well as ‘Good Morning America’ where she will provide select reports.
"I am very pleased and excited about my new role with the network and I'm especially looking forward to the new opportunities presented with 'College GameDay' and 'Good Morning America'," Andrews said.
After a successful appearance on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”, Andrews had many offers that came her way. College GameDay will air on Saturdays starting September 4th, and will be a three-hour show.
Andrews began working with ESPN in 2004, covering NHL and then moved on to MLB. Now she will be contributing reports as well as the sideline reporter during the featured game if aired on ESPN.
"The biggest reason I wanted to stay was because they'd expand my role," Andrews told USA Today. "It's time for me to try new things. … The hosting stuff is what I'm really looking forward to."
