According to various reports, the lawsuit was filed on Friday in Washoe Country District Court in Nevada involving Big Ben and eight other men. Details of the lawsuit will be disclosed later, as the events unfold.
"Ben has never sexually assaulted anyone… The timing of the lawsuit and the absence of a criminal complaint and a criminal investigation are the most compelling evidence of the absence of any criminal conduct. If an investigation is commenced, Ben will cooperate fully and Ben will be fully exonerated," Roethlisberger's attorney, David Cornwell said in a statement released on Tuesday.
Dave Lockett, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ spokesman said the team is aware of the lawsuit, and stated, "we are gathering information."
