Brett Favre and Green Bay Packers Update: It has been reported by ESPN and many other media outlets that the Green Bay Packers have offered Brett Favre as much as $20 million over a 10 year span to stay retired. This occurred in yesterday’s meetings, and it would be fair to say, Favre didn’t bite. Odds-makers at SBGglobal.com have determined, which teams have the best betting odds of winning Super Bowl XLIII.

Favre, who has officially filed reinstatement documents with Roger Goodell and the NFL, insists on wanting to play football at whatever cost.

Currently, QB Aaron Rogers is projected to be Green Bay’s starter, and the Packers are not changing their stance. The betting odds for the Green Bay Packers to win Super Bowl XLIII aren’t very good at +2,300.

On Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers president, Mark Murphy, traveled to Mississippi to meet with Favre and his agent, to try to find a resolution to keep the retired QB out of the Packers training camp. The team with the best betting odds to win Super Bowl XLIII is the New England Patriots and their ML of +300.

Another report (by ESPN) has now revealed that, because of Favre’s unwillingness to accept the $20 million offer to stay retired, the Packers are now considering trading the future Hall of Famer to a team within the NFC North. The team with the second best betting odds (ML) to win Super Bowl XLIII is the Dallas Cowboys: +425.
