Instead, he will be rejoining his teammates this week at practice to prepare for the Niners’ 2010 NFL Preseasopn finale against the San Diego Chargers next Thursday night.

"Even though some of the starters are only playing 15 plays or 16 plays, at least they're back in the rhythm and get their groove back," said Frisco defensive coordinator Greg Manusky said. "You can't really replicate that out here. But he'll be fine."

For the Raiders, they also received some good news this week regarding personnel. According to various reports, running back Darren McFadden returned to practice this week and is ready to make his 2010 NFL Preseason debut tonight against the Niners. McFadden, who is projected to be the Raiders' No.1 running back this season, hadn’t practiced since pulled his hamstring back on August 7.

McFadden will join Michael Bush, Rock Cartwright and Michael Bennett splitting the carries in the backfield. "I felt good. I felt like I was able to do everything that I'm supposed to do," said the 3rd year man out of Arkansas. "I haven't talked about (playing time) with the coaches. But for me, I feel like I'm full go, so I'll hit it full go."
