Here is the Einstein Picks services comments on various NFL Week 1 Predictions:

NY Jets (-3) at Miami Dolphins - “Miami has improved without question but the Jets have more overall talent. Playing in Miami in the humidity is an advantage the Dolphins but Brett Favre is still Brett Favre. Despite having to learn a new system Favre will be a top-5 NFL QB this season.”  Bet on the NY Jets vs Miami Dolphins at LooseLines.com.

Chicago Bears (+9 ½) at Indianapolis Colts - “For all the talk of Chicago being a sleeper team this year I have yet to see it. Indianapolis could be the real sleeper this season. Once Indy gets their horses back healthy they are going to be a tough pill to swallow again.”

Kansas City Chiefs (+15 ½) at New England Patriots - “The Pats have looked weak in the preseason but who cares? K.C is still awful and even a Matt Cassel led Patriots could lay the wood on this Chiefs squad. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats won 14 games this season with their soft schedule.”  Bet on the Kansas City Chiefs vs New England Patriots at Sportsbook.com

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3) at New Orleans Saints - “I am real high on the Saints this year. Reggie Bush may never be a great running back but he still can do lots of things with the football. The Bucs D is not the speedy animal that it was but they can still play. Jeff Garcia may be a little off having not played a while in this one.”

Dallas Cowboys (-5 ½) at Cleveland Browns - “The wise guys really pounded this line when it came out Dallas -3. I myself am not sold on the Browns either. The defense for Cleveland still leaves much to be desired. The Cowboys worst enemy this year however could be themselves in the end.” Bet on the Dallas Cowboys vs Cleveland Browns at SBGglobal.com

Houston Texans at Pittsburgh Steelers (-6 ½) - “The Matt Schaub to Andre Johnson connection will be deadly for Houston this season. Johnson has 4.30 speed at 230 Lbs. Scary. The Steelers have some major holes on that O-line still. Texans DE Mario Williams could have Big Ben running for his life.” Bet on the Houston Texans vs Pittsburgh Steelers at Bookmaker.com.

Detroit Lions (-3) at Atlanta Falcons - “This will be Matt Ryan’s christening as an NFL QB. You can usually tell pretty quick if guys can play the QB position in this league. Lions QB Jon Kitna gets a lot of flak for being a journeyman but he isn’t too bad. Lions WR Calvin Johnson could have a huge game here if Lions can run the ball.”

Jacksonville Jaguars (-3) at Tennessee Titans - “Jacksonville is a brutally consistent team that always gives an honest effort. I like playing the Jags because you usually know what your going to get.” Titans QB Vince Young is always dangerous no matter what offense the Titans use.”  Bet on the Jacksonville Jaguars vs Tennessee Titans at BodogLife.com

Carolina Panthers at San Diego Chargers (-9) - “Carolina is a smaller market team that has a real stud in linebacker Jon Beason. I am always weary of betting against teams like Carolina with something to prove. San Diego has all the talent in the world but they need to show me better run defense to win the big dance.”

St. Louis Rams (+7 ½) at Philadelphia Eagles - “Steven Jackson is always a problem to deal with but their problem is really at wideout. Philly has a damn good secondary and Marc Bulger needs to show that last year was just an aberration. The Eagles defensive schemes are the best in the NFL in my opinion also.”  Bet on the St. Louis Rams vs Philadelphia Eagles at BetUS.com

Cincinnati Bengals (-1 ½) at Baltimore Ravens - “I think Joe Flacco is a QB that the Ravens could build around. Flacco is a big, strong guy with a rocket are. All he needs is some playing time. Cincy is one of those team with that glossy air game but no real substance as a team. Carson Palmer is still a top QB but that line he works behind is one the worst.”

Seattle Seahawks (+1) at Buffalo Bills - “Bills left tackle Jason Peters holdout is major. The Seahawks defense knows how to blitz and that hole will hurt the Bills. Mike Holmgren is a damn good coach but he needs to figure out a way to get Seattle to win on the road.” Bet on the Seattle Seahawks vs Buffalo Bills at BetOnline.com.

Arizona Cardinals (-2 ½) at San Francisco 49ers - “I like that J.T Sullivan kid from the 49ers. Sullivan could put up Jon Kitna like numbers this year. Arizona seems to have some character issues in that lockeroom right now that could become a problem. I do like the decision to go with Kurt Warner over Matt Leinart. Warner has shown the same great accuracy that he had when he played in St. Louis.”
