In his postgame press conference, Tennessee Titans’ head coach Jeff Fisher said that Young’s knee “eased up” in the locker room, but tests would have to be conducted to determine the severity of the injury.

“My biggest concern that I have right now, not knowing, I don’t think it is serious about Vince,” said Fisher. “We’re going to have to do some studies, some tests on his knee,” the Titans head coach added.

Long after his teammates had left the Titans facility on Sunday, Vince Young was driven to his vehicle in a golf cart. Young was wearing a heavy brace on his knee, and was moving on crutches before hoping into the passenger seat of his car and was driven home by a friend.

In the week 1 victory, Young completed 12-of-22 passed, including 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions before leaving the game injured. The team suspects Young suffered damage to his medial collateral ligament. The team is yet to issue an official statement regarding his status.
