2010 NFL Week 1 Predictions: Known mostly for refusing to carry his teammates pads after practice, it appears that rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant might get a chance to showcase what he can do on the field when the Dallas Cowboys [-3½] open their season against the sports betting odds underdog Washington Redskins [+3½] on Sunday.

According to a source close to the Cowboys, the team is excited about the possibility of Bryant being able to suit up and make his Cowboys debut. One person said that things "look positive" for the first round pick and his chances to take on the Redskins defense. According to 2010 NFL Week 1 Predictions, the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins are expected to combine and score a grand OVER/UNDER total of 40 points when it’s all said and done.

According to Cowboys wide receiver, Ray Sherman, people in the locker room have been very impressed with Bryant and what he has been able to do in practice. The 24th overall pick in last April’s draft will be something to look out for this upcoming 2010 NFL Predictions season.

"I thought he did some good things," Sherman said. "He went through special teams. He went through drills with me. Then he came out and ran some plays with the offense. I thought he looked very good. He's ready to go."
