Broncos vs Jaguars Odds 2010 NFL Week 1 Predictions: Tim Tebow hits the NFL stage in no other place then at home when his team, the Denver Broncos, clash against the Jaguars in Jacksonville, Florida this Sunday at 1 PM ET. The big question on everyone's mind is; will he play? I have the feeling he will. The Broncos vs. Jaguars NFL Betting Point Spread have the Jaguars -3 at BODOG.com.

Broncos vs Jaguars Odds 2010 NFL Week 1 PredictionsThe Broncos and the Jaguars have no real shot of making the 2010 NFL Playoffs in their respective divisions but a good start could make them dream at some point.  After drafting Tebow and acquiring QB Brady Quinn from the Cleveland Browns, Kyle Orton has a little pressure on his back to have a really good season; otherwise the job will be handed to either of the backups.

Expect Orton to have a good game against Jacksonville without a great performance, they should be able to dominate a defense that ranked 27th against the pass in the 2009 season but also the Broncos should be able to run the ball with Knowshon Moreno vs. the 19th ranked rushing defense. Expect Tim Tebow to be participant on at least one or two plays as the Broncos will be trying to surprise the Jags with a wildcat formation at some point. You have to realize the lack of talent on both defenses will make this game a pretty entertain one to watch.

On the other hand the Jaguars will run the ball with one of the best running backs in the game, Maurice Jones Drew, trying to take advantage of a team that amounted to the worse at stopping the run last season as they ranked 26th in the league. MJD will find holes in the line especially considering Elvis Dummervil won’t be healthy enough to play also for the same exact reason, QB David Garrad will have more time in the pocket to make plays down the field.

The Jaguars running game will be too much to handle for the Broncos that will be the bottom line of the game.   Keep in mind Jacksonville is 1-12 ATS as a favorite, 9-23 ATS in all games, 7-17 ATS against conference opponents and 4-11 ATS in games where the line is +3 to -3 over the past three years. Meanwhile the Broncos are 3-0 ATS in a road game where the total is between 38.5 and 42 points.
