Earlier in the week, it was announced that the star halfback would be available to play against the Trojans.

Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel has broken the news that Wells is now listed as doubtful to play Saturday night against top-ranked Southern California.

Wells injured his (right) foot in the Buckeyes’ opener against Youngstown State. He was sidelined in Week 2 against Ohio, but participated in some team practices this week. . Tressel said that team officials would monitor Wells’ condition before making a final decision about him not playing in Los Angeles this Saturday.
