Among all the big divisional college football betting matchups on the NCAAF schedule, Ohio State and USC are getting a ton of play at Sportsbook.com. The Trojans are -11½ College Football betting odds favorites over Ohio State with the the total set to 44½. College fans have been waiting for the matchup between the #5 Ohio State Buckeyes and #1 Southern California Trojans and, judging by the action on this game, bettors have been anxiously awaiting Saturday’s primetime special as well. “The nation has been waiting for this game and this is definitely going to be the most wagered on game of the early college football season,” Sportsbook.com spokesman Dave Staley said. Two of the best football programs in the nation, Ohio State has been to two-straight NCAA Championship Games while USC won the 2004 National Title, played in the 2005 title game and has consistently been one of the top-ranked schools in the nation over the last decade. Early bettors are backing the USC Trojans after Ohio State had trouble beating Ohio last week. Ohio State running back Chris Wells was injured in the season opener and missed last weekend’s game. He’s now listed as doubtful for Saturday which is a huge blow to the Buckeyes. With 76% of the money siding with USC, oddsmakers have moved the line a full 2 points; USC going from 9.5-point favorites to 10.5-points. After the announcement that Wells was doubtful, the line moved to an 11.5-point spread.
