Cleveland Browns DE Robaire Smith Out for Season: Defensive end, Robaire Smith of the Cleveland Browns sustained what is now being considered a potential season-ending injury to his (left) Achilles' tendon. This incident occurred during the Brown’s Sunday Night Football (6-10) loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Cleveland Browns, who are now 0-2 and tied for last place in the AFC North early in the season, have to be disappointed with the long-term loss. Smith is the third key player the Browns will have to fill in for, due to injury.

In Week 3 of the NFL season, the Cleveland Browns will travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens at 4 PM ET on CBS.

At SBGglobal.com, the Cleveland Browns are +2 NFL betting odds underdogs in their road game against the (-2) betting favorites Baltimore Ravens.

Cleveland’s head coach, Romeo Crennel didn't go into any specifics regarding Smith’s status for the rest of the season. However, the head coach indicated that his DE would be sidelined for an extended (undefined) period of time: "He is not in the best of shape… for a big man, an Achilles is a tough thing to deal with."

The Brown’s depth chart has taken a major hit as of late. First, linebacker Antwan Peek went down for the season with a knee injury. And then, safety Sean Jones had to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery (last week), and will miss several more weeks. The OVER/UNDER for this Week 3 game between the Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens has been set at a total of 39 points.
