Jacksonville experienced a major roster 
shakeup just a week before its season opener when Head Coach Jack Del Rio elected to cut starting quarterback David Garrard. The move to backup Luke McCown did not backfire on the team, though, as the Jaguars turned back the visiting Titans 16-14 on Sunday.
Jacksonville took the air out of the ball in the narrow divisional win, rushing 47 times for 163 yards. Lead back Maurice Jones-Drew rushed for 97 yards on 24 attempts, helping lead Jacksonville to a 323 to 292 yardage advantage. McCown completed 17-of-24 passes for 175 yards in his first start since 2007.
Unlike Jacksonville, New York did not hold on for a win, it had to rally to beat the underdog Cowboys on Sunday night. Dallas jumped out to a 17-7 first half lead and it held a 24-10 advantage early in the fourth quarter.
The Jets comeback started with a 26 yard touchdown pass from Mark Sanchez to Plaxico Burress and it concluded with a 50 yard Nick Folk field goal with just 27 seconds remaining on the clock.
While New York was, no doubt, thrilled with the come from behind victory, Head Coach Rex Ryan would have preferred a less dramatic finish.
There were certainly some holes in the Jets game as they yielded 21 first downs and 390 yards to the Cowboys. Jacksonville does not possess the same kind of weapons that Dallas does, though. The Jags will pound the ball on the ground and slow the game down in an attempt to keep things close.
The Under 39.5 may be the best play here, unless you are willing to spend $400 to make $100 on a straight up New York win.
