NFL Week 3 Predictions: The NFL season heads into week three this Sunday and there are a number of key matchups on the schedule, including divisional showdowns between the Patriots and Bills, Falcons and Buccaneers, and Packers and Bears. There is also an important NFL Odds AFC/NFC clash between the Texans and Saints that could, at least in a Houstonian's dream, represent a Super Bowl XLVI pairing.
Atlanta Falcons vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers 
(-1.5): Atlanta looked well on its way to an 0-2 hole, but an improbable fourth quarter comeback against the Eagles helped the Falcons score a cover and avert disaster. Tampa Bay enjoyed the same type of victory over Minnesota on Sunday as it entered the fourth quarter down 20-10 when Josh Freeman worked some of his customary late game magic. Now these two rivals will attempt to get a leg up on each other, and, surprisingly, the odds makers are siding with the Bucs, which have lost five straight to the Falcons.
Houston Texans vs New Orleans Saints (-4): The Saints defense got shredded by the Packers in the season opener, but they rebounded on Sunday with an impressive effort against the Bears. New Orleans recorded six sacks and 10 quarterback hits in beating Chicago. Houston, like Green Bay, presents far more challenges to a defense, though, which means the Saints offense will need to keep humming. That should not be an issue as the team posted 382 yards last week and 477 in the opener. Drew Brees looks nearly unstoppable right now; his numbers through two weeks: 689 yards, six touchdowns, zero interceptions.
