Alabama at Georgia College Football Betting Preview

by Steve Hastings on Friday, September 26th, 2008

A Top-10 showdown between SEC teams is set for Saturday night on ESPN as #3 Georgia hosts #8 Alabama.  Georgia started the season at number one, is still unbeaten, but has dropped to #3 in the polls.  The Bulldogs continue to play well including a very impressive 27-10 road win at Arizona State last week.  Heisman Trophy candidate Knowshon Moreno ran for 149 yards and two touchdowns. "I think we made a good statement," said freshman receiver A.J. Green, "We're from the SEC, the South boys. Everybody thinks our conference is so hard, so we just came out here and proved a point." This week is an even bigger test for Georgia as a talented Georgia squad visits. SBG Global reports that early College Football betting has the public taking Alabama on the Road.
