The wide receiver was seen participating at Giants’ practice on Thursday. Manningham complained of headaches after Sunday’s game to the Titans, where he was hurt late in the game.
The New York Giants [-4½] were defeated by Tennessee 29-10, and now go on to face the undefeated, sports betting odds underdog Chicago Bears [+4½] for Week 4. Manningham was said to have passed a baseline test earlier today, which tells the doctors the severity of the concussion.
"It was a little headache, that's all it was," said Manningham. "I'm good. I practiced today. I am ready to play."
The second year receiver leads the team with 238 receiving yards. He also has 14 catches and a touchdown so far this season. Another player that was hurt on Sunday’s game was Keith Bulluck, Giants’ starting linebacker, in the third play of the game. He is suffering from turf toe but hopes to be ready to play Sunday night.
"I think it's great that we play an 8 o'clock game," Bulluck said. "I've got two and a half more days to heal up so I think I should be out there."
Bulluck was at practice on Thursday but had to leave after testing out his injury. "I am not concerned because it is only Thursday," Bulluck said. "I'll do some more things to rehab it and I'll try to practice again tomorrow. I have two full days and a half day to get better."
