In a game featuring two of the NFL's top young running backs in Minnesota's Adrian Peterson and Tennessee's Johnson, it was two old quarterbacks - Gus Frerotte and Kerry Collins - who tried to take control against two stingy defenses against the run.

Collins had much more help from his Titans.  HC Fisher has made it clear that Collins will be the starter for the rest of the season as long as he plays well and that when Vince is healthy he will be the #2 QB.  The VY story is where it should be, on a wait and see basis, he's going to be the backup for this year then they will reevaluate in the off-season and decide where to go from there.

The Ravens are (2-1) off a Monday night loss to Pittsburgh, 23-20.  Losing for the seventh time in their last eight games in Pittsburgh and falling out of the AFC North lead, won the important overtime coin toss but were backed up by two penalties and a sack and Sam Koch had to punt out of the end zone.  The Ravens, who are in off their Monday Nighter with the Steelers, have allowed just 10 and 10 pts as hosts, and are 30-12 ATS as non-division hosts. NFL Predictions: Ravens are still recovering from the brawl with the Steelers and they have an inexperienced QB thats ripe for the pickens when they send the QB crushers after him.  The Ravens are not a high scoring team either so they should be able to contain Titans easily and their running back is already banged up so their defense might put him out early if they try and run too much.  Should be a slugfest anyway and they bang harder than anyone.  Titans 3-12 ATS off scoring 28+ pts, & 0-9 ATS as RFs of <3½ pts off SU win.
