NFL Week 6 Schedule & Odds: There will be 13 games adorning the NFL Week 6 Schedule with its opening odds slowly coming to light. There have been many surprises in the NFL this week, as some pretenders appear to be contenders and vice versa. One of the biggest bombshells of 2011 has been the consistent play of the (4-1) Buffalo Bills.
Going into Week 6, the no-name Bills continue to keep pace with the mighty New England Patriots, as they are
neck-to-neck in the race for a division title. With everyone expecting Ryan Fitzpatrick and his team to slow down, the Bills seem to upset quality opponents, one after the other. Get $50 in Free NFL Picks Here!
In Week 5, the Bills welcomed the team that was crown Super Bowl champions by most people, before the season even started, the Philadelphia Eagles. Losers of four in a row, Michael Vick and Andy Reid went into Ralph Wilson Stadium desperate to stop the losing streak. However, what they found there was a determined Bills defense unwilling to let Vick beat them.
"All week, we talked about getting after Vick," said Bills linebacker, Nick Barnett, who recorded 2 INTs on Sunday. "Containing Vick is a hard job for anybody. We were trying to make him uneasy, make him think too fast."
When it was all said and done, the Eagles found themselves in a deeper hole than when they arrived, and the Bills definitely have everyone’s attention now. In a 24-31 losing effort, Vick was picked off for a career-high, 4 times, and on the brink of having a once promising season go down the drain completely.
"Sitting at 1-4, there's really not too much you can say whether you're a good team or a bad team," Vick said. "I know I have a lot of confidence in these guys. We just have to keep fighting."
