NFL Week 6 Picks on the Baltimore Ravens vs New England Patriots Odds: The New England Patriots will seek revenge this Sunday when they host the Baltimore Ravens at 1 PM ET at Gillete Stadium, in a rematch of last year's NFL Playoff divisional game. The Ravens vs. Patriots NFL Point Spread have the Pats -2.5 at BETUS.com
The Ravens whipped the Pats last season in a 33-14 win at Foxboro, back then they scored 24 points in just the first quarter including an 83 yards run for a touchdown by Ray Rice. In that game the defense was also great as they picked off Tom Brady three times and forced him to lose a fumble in the worse NFL playoff game performance ever for the future Hall of Fame QB.
This year Brady will face another great defense as the Ravens are the second best team defending the pass (allows 156.6 yards per game) and the 10th best stopping the run (allows 101.2 yards a game) and to make it worse this will be his first game without his best target for the past three seasons (Randy Moss). New England signed Deion Branch this week but I don't expect him to make a great impact in his first game as a Patriot since he left to Seattle, so I anticipate the high scoring team in the league to struggle against Baltimore this weekend.
On defense the Patriots need to set the edge for the run and don't give great holes to Ray Rice, if they limited the small back then Joe Flacco will need to throw the ball more time than necessary. I consider him a good player but I don't think a passing match head to head against Tom Brady is convenient for the Ravens.
Consider Baltimore is 8-1 ATS as road dog of 3 pts or less and 2 of 2 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL over the last 3 seasons.
