Indianapolis Colts RB Joseph Addai Out 2-4 Weeks

Indianapolis Colts RB Joseph Addai Out 2-4 Weeks: If there were one thing that could describe the (3-2) Indianapolis Colts’ season thus far, that would be injuries. Well, chalk another two up on the board, as Indy has lost more vital pieces in their offensive scheme.

In the NFL’s Week 7, Indianapolis will try to string back-to-back wins when they travel to Lambeau Field to take on Aaron Rogers and the (3-3) Green Bay Packers.

According to odds-makers at HeroesCasino.com, the Indianapolis Colts [-1] hold a slight edge over the hosting Green Bay Packers [+1] in the Online Sports Betting Odds.

This game has a scheduled opening kickoff start of Sunday afternoon, beginning at 1 PM ET (10 AM PT), and it can be seen live in HD on CBS.

According to the Colts, running back Joseph Addai has a slightly torn hamstring and is expected to be out between 2-4 weeks. And if that wasn’t bad enough, Tony Dungy confirmed on Wednesday that rookie running back Mike Hart has a torn ACL. Hart has been placed in the injured reserve list, and thus, his season is over.

As a result of how thin they're in the backfield, the Colts have re-signed RB Clifton Dawson — Dawson spent 13 games last season with Indy — and promoted rookie RB Chad Simpson to their practice squad. According to coach Dungy, he plans to use Dominic Rhodes, Clifton Dawson, and Chad Simpson on Sunday at Green Bay. The OVER/UNDER for that Colts-Packers game has been set at a combined total of 47 points.
