NFL Picks Week 7 2011

NFL Picks Week 7 2011: Finding the best plays on the board is more often than not a difficult task, and that is certainly the case this weekend with a number of evenly matched teams butting heads on the gridiron. After careful evaluation, I have focused in on three week seven games that I believe offer the best value for football bettors.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Arizona Cardinals NFL Picks Week 7 2011(+3.5): For the life of me I cannot figure out why the Steelers are not favored by more in this matchup. Sure, the Cardinals are coming off rest and they have played some competitive games this season, but their suspect offense figures to have its share of troubles scoring against the Steelers top ranked defense. Conversely, Pittsburgh, which ranks 11th and 12th in rush yards and pass yards per game respectively, should have its way with Arizona's bend and break defense.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Oakland Raiders (-4.5): The public keeps dumping money on the Raiders and I say good because that means the real value play (KC) just keeps getting better. Oakland is the better team right now, but the Chiefs, which are off a bye, are playing much better football of late. Kansas City typically shows up to play at the Black Hole as well as evidenced by its 7-1 record in its last eight visits to Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. These games are almost always close, so, why not go with the team that usually wins them? Get $50 in Free NFL Picks Here.

Washington Redskins vs Carolina Panthers (-2.5): Washington has its issues and, much to the chagrin of Head Coach Mike Shanahan, the biggest one is under center. Shanahan elected to go with the unproven John Beck as his starter at Carolina after another horrific performance from Rex Grossman. Fortunately for Shanahan and the Redskins, all Beck needs to do this week is manage the game without turning the ball over two or three times. Carolina has a high flying offense with Cam Newton under center, but it is also an error prone unit that will have its share of troubles dealing with a Washington defense that has not allowed more than 21 points all season long. Give me the Redskins all day in this one.

In summary, take Pittsburgh -3.5, Kansas City +4.5, and Washington +2.5. If you're feeling really adventurous, throw them into a three team, six point teaser, which would give the Steelers +2.5, the Chiefs +10.5, and the Redskins +8.5.
