But now they head to Tampa Bay where they are looking to get their first win there in about 18 years. The Rams have lost four in a row at Tampa Bay since their last win in 1992. The Bucs must do their part and hold back QB Sam Bradford on Sunday if they want to continue their winning streak against the Rams at home.
They must also try to improve their run defense, which yields 157 rushing yards per game. Defensive end Time Crowder knows how much of a difference this would make on their team. "We've got to figure out some kind of way to stop the run," Crowder said. "Everything starts with stopping the run."
The Bucs are 27th with 91.2 rushing yards per game, since their leading rusher Cadillac Williams is averaging just 2.5 per carry.This will give undrafted rookies LeGarrette Blound and Kregg Lumpkin more touches in the case that Williams does not get better.
"I'm confident in those two young men," coach Raheem Morris said. "I'm excited that we got them. You never know what's going to happen in this league.”
