Just when things could not look any 
bleaker for the beleaguered Rams, they find out that franchise quarterback Sam Bradford will miss a second straight week with a high ankle sprain. St. Louis' offense fared horribly with Bradford out of the lineup last Sunday in Dallas as the team finshed the game with 13 first downs, 265 total yards, and two turnovers.
Bradford's fill-up, veteran A.J. Feeley, completed 20-of-33 passes for 196 yards and one pick in the devastating 34-7 loss to the Cowboys. The Rams offense may have been a bright spot compared to what the defense did in the team's fifth double digit setback of the season. Dallas racked up 445 total yards, 294 of which came on the ground as running back DeMarco Murray rushed for a rookie record of 253 yards on 25 carries.
The Saints offense, no doubt, experienced feelings of jubilation when watching tape from last weekend's Rams/Cowboys game. Drew Brees and company probably felt they could duplicate their 62-7 thrashing of the Colts, despite the rare occurance of such a lopsided NFL score.
Brees, who led the team to 36 first downs and 557 yards of offense, completed 31 of his 35 pass attempts for 325 yards and five touchdowns while running backs Mark Ingram, Darren Sproles, and Pierre Thomas each rushed for over 50 yards.
Even if you are one to shy away from double digit NFL spreads, you may find this one to your liking. St. Louis has done absolutely nothing this season to suggest it can hang with New Orleans for five minutes, yet alone four quarters.
