"We're not going to stop right now and give up or quit or whine or even make excuses," Phillips said. "You've just got to go forward. That's what we have to do. I think our guys will band together."
All the pressure now sits on Kitna’s shoulders, whom was traded to the Cowboys in 2009. The last time he was a starter was in 2008, when he played the first four games for Detroit during their 0-16 season. Last week when Kitna took over for Romo, he went 16 of 33 for 187 yards along with 2 fourth quarter TD’s.
The 3-4 Jaguars have also been dealing with quarterback troubles, but this week they will have starter David Garrard back on the field. Earlier this week, Garrard passed the post-concussion tests and was cleared to play, after being hit by Tennessee two weeks ago.
"I feel good," Garrard said. "I haven't had any recurring symptoms." This will be the first time Dallas and Jacksonville meet since their last meeting in 2006, when the Jaguars pulled off the 24-17 win.
