The quarterback will surely look to Calvin Johnson for help on his first game back. Johnson has 15 catches for 286 yards and three touchdowns in his last three games. But Stafford will also have his first game back against a Redskins team that is coming off a big win over Chicago on Sunday.
Albert Haynesworth and DeAngelo Hall have had a lot to do with Washington’s recent success. On Sunday, Hall had four interceptions in the 17-14 Redskins win.
"It's not necessarily big for me, but it's big for this defense," Hall said. "If you go out and look at the stats, we don't look too good on paper, but you watch us live, we're out there flying around."
The Redskins allowed 322 yards, a season low, and forced six turnovers last week. This could mean trouble for the Lions’ QB, who in his past 11 NFL games, has thrown 20 interceptions.
