New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons 
(-1): The Falcons have recovered for their 2-3 start and have some momentum built up after winning three straight games, but the Saint, despite their occasional inconsistencies, are the better team. New Orleans has won eight of the last 10 in this series, including four of the last five meetings at the Georgia Dome. The Saints are 0-2 in their last two road games, but with so much on the line this Sunday, Drew Brees and company are certain to practice better ball security.
New England Patriots vs New York Jets (-1): New England has lost back-to-back games, it has the league's worst defense (yards per game allowed), and its quarterback has thrown for just 6.3 yards per pass the last two games (2.12 yards per pass below his season average); however, don't bury this team just yet. The Jets, winners of three straight games, have all the momentum, but something about the Patriots spooks Rex Ryan's club. Tom Brady and company have won six of their last nine regular season games against New York. But more than any record, the reason to side with New England here is the situation. The Patriots rarely fail to respond when their backs are against the wall, and proof of such is the fact they have not lost three consecutive games since the 2002 season.
