NFL Predictions: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New York Jets NFL Odds Week 10: The sports betting odds underdog Jacksonville Jaguars [+6½] will have a face off with the New York Jets [-6½] at Giants Stadium this Sunday at 1 PM ET (10AM PT) on CBS. Both teams are 4-4, and are hoping to make some improvements for the second half of the NFL Predictions season.

The Jags enter this NFL Odds Week 10 in third place in the AFC South, while the Jets continue to hang around in the AFC East, currently occupying the second spot. According to NFL Predictions and NFL Odds Week 10 experts at SPORTSBETTING.com, the OVER/UNDER for this Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New York Jets AFC matchup has been set at a combined total of 41 points scored.

Last week the Jaguars got the win against Kansas City, 24-21 with a late rally. Jacksonville has lost three of four road games, but last week’s win over the Chiefs gives coach Jack Del Rio a glimpse of hope. "We're going to continue to scratch around and settle on things we think our guys can do best," Del Rio said. "I feel like our guys were excited about what we did. Obviously, we had a little success and want to build on that.”

The Jaguars offense is built mainly around running back Maurice Jones-Drew, who had 97 yards on 29 carried last week. He leads the league with 11 touchdowns and 737 total rushing yards. Jacksonville has the league’s lowest sacks, and the defense will have to pick thing up to another notch if they want to put pressure on rookie Mark Sanchez and his Jets offensive line.

As for New York, Jets fans are wondering if their team can pick themselves up after losing 4 of 5 games. The Jets are coming off a much-needed Bye week, with the expectation of making some major improvements and hopefully reach the playoffs. "We're on a great football team," Sanchez said. "Our record doesn't show the type of players we have, the kind of people we have in this locker room and the kind of coaching we have."

Sanchez’s first three games showed a confident rookie who accumulated 606 passing yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. However in his next five games, the former Trojan standout completed just 49.6 percent of passes for 837 yards. First year coach, Rex Ryan will also be on the spotlight, as fans want to see if this other rookie and pick this team up and bring them back into playoff contention in the AFC.

The Jaguars and Jets last met up in Week 5 of the 2006 season. The Jaguars were in complete control, and convincingly defeated the Jets 41-0.
