NFL Week 12 Predictions 2011: There are several important games this week, three of which have already taken place, relating to division standings and the playoff chase. Green Bay all but wrapped up the NFC North title yesterday and the Ravens put themselves in the driver's set in the AFC North with a win over San Francisco last night. Among the more important games still left on the week 12 docket are meetings between the Bears and Raiders, Patriots and Eagles, Broncos and Chargers, and Giants and Saints.
New York Giants vs New Orleans Saints 
(-7/50.5): This game holds great importance for both squads as the Giants (6-4) need to keep pace with the surging Cowboys in the NFC East and the Saints (7-3) need to keep the Falcons at bay in the NFC South. New York, given all of its injury woes, surprised many people with its strong 6-2 start, but Eli Manning and company are starting to look more like faders with each passing week. The Giants have lost two games in a row, and they close out the season with New Orleans, Green Bay, Dallas, Washington, New York, and Dallas. That makes this Monday's showdown with the Saints an almost must win game for the G-Men. Unfortunately for them, that's not a good spot to be in against New Orleans at the Superdome. The Saints are 4-0 at home this season with wins over Chicago, Houston, Indianapolis, and Tampa Bay. None of those teams finished within six points of New Orleans, which is averaging 39.8 points per game in front of its home fans. And consider this trend: home favorites of 7 to 9.5 points playing on a Monday night are 8-1 straight up and against the spread over the last five seasons.
