NFL Picks: Minnesota Vikings vs Arizona Cardinals NFL Odds Week 13

NFL Picks: Minnesota Vikings vs Arizona Cardinals NFL Odds Week 13: The defending NFC champion might very well be facing this year’s conference best tonight, as the (7-4) Arizona Cardinals [+3½] get set to welcome the sports betting odds favorite (10-1) Minnesota Vikings [-3½]. This great NFC showdown is set to kickoff right around 8:30 PM ET and NBA will broadcast all the action live in crystal clear high definition.

Both teams enter this NFL Odds Week 13 leading the way in their respective divisions. However, it’s pretty clear which is the better team at this point in the season. According to NFL Odds makers at SPORTSBOOK.com, the OVER/UNDER for this Minnesota Vikings vs Arizona Cardinals Week 13 game is set at a combined total of 48½ points scored.

For the visiting Vikings, they certainly are looking and playing like a true NFC championship contender. Led by 40-year-old quarterback Brett Favre, who will set the NFL record for consecutive games played by non-kickers (283), Minnesota is finding its groove as a team.

With a victory against the Cardinals today and a Green Bay loss to the Ravens on Monday night, the Vikings would clinch the NFC North division and secure their spot into the tournament.

Most of Minnesota’s success this season can be once again credited to their defense, and to the way Favre has managed the game on the offensive side of the ball. "We know what we're doing with the pass game. We trust what we're doing with the pass game, the protection game," Minnesota head coach Brad Childress said. "Let's move it this way."

For the Cardinals, their success in this game will largely depend on Kurt Warner’s ability to take the field. After sitting out last week’s loss to Tennessee for post-concussion symptoms, Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt is being very secretive about Warner’s status for this one, calling it a game-time decision.

In case that Warner isn’t able to go, it would mean that Matt Leinart would get his second consecutive start of the season. According to Warner, he continues to experience lingering vision problems.

"It's not a visual issue where I'm foggy, where I can't see or I can't focus on something," he stated, "but there's a fogginess that's kind of in and behind my eyes, or on top of my eyes. It's something that's just not right. It's just not normal."
