Minnesota Vikings vs Carolina Panthers NFL Week 15 Picks: Looking to win an NFC North title, Brett Favre and the (11-2) Minnesota Vikings [-9] will take on the short-handed, sports betting odds underdog (5-8) Carolina Panthers [+9] on Sunday night. The Vikes and the Panthers are set to kick off at 8:25 PM ET and the OVER/UNDER is set at a total of 43 points.
This game will be an uphill battle for Carolina to say the least. Starting quarterback Jake Delhomme has already been ruled out for this week’s game due to a broken finger. This means that backup quarterback Matt Moore is expected to make his third consecutive start for Carolina.
As a starter, Moore is 1-1 as the Panthers have struggled to get into the end zone, scoring just two touchdowns with him at the helm. But Delhomme isn’t the only player that might be missed this Sunday.
Cornerback Richard Marshall, who has a right ankle injury, is currently listed as questionable. However, he did practice with the team on Friday. Also questionable is kicker Tyrell Sutton, as he deals a sore hamstring. More probables include: (DE) Tyler Brayton (concussion), (LB) Na'il Diggs (ribs), (WR) Muhsin Muhammad (knee) and (RB) Jonathan Stewart (toe).
