The Atlanta Falcons will look to win their eighth game in row as well as preserve their one game lead over the Saints in the NFC South when they take on the Seahawks tomorrow at Qwest Field. Sunday's game between the two NFC rivals is scheduled to kickoff at 4:05pm ET on FOX. Atlanta extended its current win streak to 
seven games last Sunday with a 31-10 stomping of the Panthers in Carolina. The Falcons, which own the top seed in the NFC with an 11-2 record, produced a pedestrian 327 total yards; however, they did go 4-for-4 in the red zone.
Matt Ryan turned in a marginal performance, completing 20-of-34 passes for 227 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, but running back Michael Turner excelled, rushing for 112 yards and three touchdowns.
The Falcons, which are 5-2 on the road this year, held Carolina's hapless offense to 13 first downs and 288 total yards.
Seattle lost for the third time in its last four games last weekend, getting spanked 40-21 by division rival San Francisco at Candlestick Park. The loss dropped the Seahawks record to 6-7; however, a Rams loss at New Orleans left Seattle in a first place tie with St. Louis in the NFC West.
The Seahawks have fared far better at home this season than on the road, garnering four of its six wins at Qwest Field. Seattle whipped the Panthers 31-14 in its last home outing, but it lost two in a row as a host prior to that, falling 41-7 to the Giants and 42-24 to the Chiefs.
If Seattle can at least earn a split in its next two games (Atlanta, at Tampa Bay), it should have every opportunity to win the NFC West when it hosts St. Louis in the season finale.
