Saints vs Colts Super Bowl Odds, Super Bowl Picks & Super Bowl Predictions: With less than 48 hours left until kick off of Super Bowl XLIV, the current Super Bowl Odds at 9:05 PM EST on Friday February 5th show the Indianapolis Colts -5 point favorites in Super Bowl Picks against the New Orleans Saints at SBGGLOBAL.com.
"I think about things like that [possibly missing another Super Bowl due to injury] all the time," stated New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey said. "You've just got to let it play out. I think we were smart with how many reps I got in the game and this week and how many I got in practice. We're going to continue to be smart going into the game and in the Super Bowl. And after that, there's no holding reins back because no matter what happens to me after that, I do everything that I can and everything that it's going to take to win the game. I can spend a lot of time to rehab and things of that nature in the off-season." Compare Super Bowl Odds on the Saints vs Colts now! Super Bowl Picks on the New Orleans Saints vs Indianapolis Colts TOTAL is 56½ points at SBGGLOBAL.com. The Super Bowl Predictions on the money line at SBGGLOBAL.com show the Indianapolis Colts -200 odds favorites and the New Orleans Saints +170 odds underdogs. "Well, you know it certainly does give you a little less trepidation because it's not new to them in terms of surroundings, but that is only not new to a portion of our team. There are only 25 of our guys who have had that experience," stated Indianapolis Colts head coach Jim Caldwell on if the experience of a South Florida Super Bowl is a benefit to the Colts. "Some of them, I think, it will rub off on some of the younger guys because they will be able to give them some direction and things of that nature. But it doesn't give you any real advantages. There are no guarantees involved. Simply because you have been some place on occasion or you play at home or play away, whatever it might be, it doesn't give you any guarantees. I think that's certainly been quite evident. I talk to our guys about it, the fact that we went on the road numerous times in foreign territory under tough conditions, be it whether or field conditions or whatever it might be, and you would say the home team has an advantage but we were able to come away with a win. This is no different. It's a neutral site. Simply because we have a portion of our team that has been here doesn't give us any real advantages." The New Orleans Saints are playing the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl 2010 on Sunday February 7th and kickoff is at 6:30 PM EST at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. 2010 Super Bowl Predictions: As the Colts made their rounds though the 2010 Super Bowl media this afternoon in Miami, Florida, Indy fans got some pretty good news about the most famous ankle in sports. His teammates say he’s like X-Men’s Wolverine when it comes to healing from injuries and they might have a good argument. Today, the head coach of the 2010 Super Bowl Predictions’ sports betting odds favorite Indianapolis Colts sounded very optimistic about the playing status of defensive end Dwight Freeney. “He’s trending in the right direction,” Jim Caldwell said at his news conference today. The Indianapolis Colts [-5] continue to be the clear sports betting odds favorites to win the 2010 Super Bowl Predictions against the New Orleans Saints [+5] on Sunday night. For those of you interested in betting on the OVER/UNDER, 2010 Super Bowl Predictions experts at BODOG.com have set their mark for the Colts and Saints at a combined total of 57 points scored. After tearing a ligament in his right ankle during the Colts’ win over the Jets in the AFC Championship game, Freeney has been received around-the-clock treatment. Even though he appears to be improving, the 5-time Pro Bowler has yet to practice with the team. “He’s getting better, but we’ll see,” Caldwell added. “It’s still a day-to-day situation.” Other injury concerns for the Colts include offensive lineman Ryan Lilja, who has a sore back, and cornerback Jerraud Powers who according to Caldwell has “an internal fixation of a fractured foot”. Nevertheless, the first-year head coach also sounded optimistic about Powers for Super Sunday. “He feels that he’s going to be able to play,” he said. “It’s just kind of up to the doctors … if he’s able to run and run without any inhibitions whatsoever. He’s moving along and moving well and we’ll see.” Bet on 2010 Super Bowl Predictions at online sportsbook Bodog.com and receive a 10% Deposit Bonus and start winning today! |

Expert Super Bowl Picks: We are now just a few days away from the biggest game of the NFL football season. This means that both teams are making some of their final preparations for Sunday’s Super Bowl and so are Expert Super Bowl Picks specialists. From day 1, we’ve seen the Indianapolis Colts [-4½] rise and remain as the string sports betting odds favorites to defeat the sports betting odds underdog New Orleans Saints [+4½] in Super Bowl XLIV. However, this week, we’ve observed a surge of the action leaning towards the Saints. Taking the Rex Ryan approach, it has been the underdogs that have been doing all the talking this week, in particular Saints defensive coordinator Greg Williams. According to him, their success is going to depend on his players’ ability to get to Peyton Manning and deliver some “remember me” hits. Given a chance to take some of his comments back, Williams addressed the media this week. “I’m not going to apologize for that,” he stated on Thursday’s media session. “I’m not going to be polite about that. That’s what defenses are about.”
Williams’ philosophy in professional football is very simple: hit as hard as you possibly can first, ask questions later. “I’ve told him every single time he stepped on a field of play, since he’s been in little league: ‘When you get done, you want them to remember your name. And if they can’t remember your name, it’s because you hit 'em so hard you knocked the name out of their mind.' That’s just how it is. It’s a con-tact game.” But can the Saints actually do to Manning what no one else has been able to do? Well, that remains to be seen. But if they can have anything close to the success they had against another guy that has seen it all in his career in Brett Favre, this could turn very interesting indeed. “He could’ve laid down or thrown the ball away, but he sat in there and took the hit.” Remi Ayodele said of the simultaneous double-hit Favre took from him (low) and from Bobby McCray (high). “I was surprised he got up from that.” I mean, we all saw what Favre looked like after taking one of the worst beating of his career after the NFC Championship game. Are Saints sorry for this? “He’s a warrior,” Ayodele added. “He don’t want nobody to feel bad for him. … He was trying to get here just like we were.” But the Saints defenders also understand there’s a distinct difference between No.4 and No.18. “Favre doesn’t care about punishment,” McCray explained. “His will to stay in there and keep playing is crazy. “Some quarterbacks” — Favre first among them — “like to get hit,” McCray said. “Some don’t. Peyton is one that definitely doesn’t like it. He won’t sit in there and take the shots. He’ll go down. He won’t let you get those big hits on him. He’s not a dummy for doing that. He’s not a coward for doing that. He’s just smart.” But even among all the hard-hitting and trash-talking, these players have the outmost respect for the great ones like Favre and Manning. “He’s different than everybody else,” Ayodele said of the Colts’ signal-caller. “It’s like playing a coach, a coach who can throw. Most quarterbacks want to look tough for their guys. That’s not him. He’s knows, ‘I might have to take this sack, and I might look like a sissy doing it. But guess what? I’m not hurt, and I’m going to get up and play the next play. And the next play. And the next.' “That’s probably why he’s one of the best quarterbacks ever to play.” SBGGlobal.com have the best bonuses in the industry waiting for you.
