LaDainian Tomlinson to Join Minnesota Vikings? After being released by the San Diego Chargers following a stellar nine-year career in “America’s Finest City”, LaDainian Tomlinson finds himself jobless this offseason. According to confirmed reports, L.T. will visit with the two-time NFC North champion Minnesota Vikings today about a potential backup role to the spectacular Adrian Peterson out of the backfield. Not only is the 2006 league MVP excited about the possibility to play with A.P. and potentially even Brett Favre, but so is the Vikings’ organization. "The opportunity to play with Brett would be unbelievable, incredible," Tomlinson said. "So many years I've watched Brett and also played against him and admire him so much. Imagining him just throwing the ball to me out of the backfield or something like that, it would be something I can always remember and also tell my kids about." With a potential role as a third-down back, Tomlinson has no problem with that function and in fact believes he could be a great fir for this team. "I don't [have a problem with it]. I know I can catch the ball really well out of the backfield, can run routes and that's something that I've always looked for as I got older in my career. Being able to fall back on that. Not having to carry the ball as much," he added. "I think that's what was lost in San Diego because I was the only guy that could really carry the ball 20 times. So my third-down role was reduced. So now I'm looking for that. It's something I can do and I can fit in well," he told the newspaper. How far do you think the Minnesota Vikings will get this season? What are the Vikings chances of winning the 2011 Super Bowl? Is Brett Favre coming back to honor the final year of his contract despite turning 41 years old during the season? The answer to these and many other questions pertaining to the immediate future of the Minnesota Vikings are available now at SPORTSBOOK.com! Odds to Win 2011 Super Bowl: The rumors about Reggie Bush being released by the New Orleans Saints look as though they have been cleared up. According to sources close to the team, Reggie Bush will be back next year and most likely under his current $8 million base salary contract. This is particularly significant, as the former Southern Cal star is an intricate part of this team’s chances to repeat as 2011 Super Bowl champions. "He'll be with us. He's not going anywhere," Saints coach Sean Payton told the New Orleans Times-Picayune in Indianapolis. "Mickey [Loomis] and I talked the other day about it. We value what this player brings, what he's been in three of the last four years ... really in all four seasons here. So I think we've spent more time in the other areas than we have discussing his status. So he's full speed ahead, he finished strong, and he'll be with us." Presently, the New Orleans Saints [+750 ML] have been given the second best Odds to Win the 2011 Super Bowl only behind the Indianapolis Colts [+625 ML]. The Saints upset the heavy-favorite Colts on February 7th in Miami, Florida by a final score of 31-17. The game was very tight in the late going, as the Colts marched down the field trying to tie the game. However, an uncharacteristic Peyton Manning interception sealed the Colts’ fate. In his four seasons with the Saints, Bush has had 52 career appearances and 35 starts. He has rushed 488 times for 1,940 yards and 17 touchdowns. In this year’s Super Bowl, the 2005 Heisman winner earned 725 yards from scrimmage and scored eight times. In 2009, Bush showed what a key player he really is for the Saints offense. Other contending teams with solid Odds to Win 2011 Super Bowl include: San Diego Chargers [+800 ML] Pittsburgh Steelers [+1000 ML] New England Patriots [+1000 ML] Dallas Cowboys [+1200 ML] Minnesota Vikings [+1300 ML] Bet on Odds to Win 2011 Super Bowl at internet sportsbook SBG Global and receive up to 295% in Cash Bonuses and start winning today! |

Will Brett Favre Return to Vikings This Year? While the whole world once again awaits Brett Favre’s decision to come back to the game he loves, Favre is busy with projects of his own. Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress, says he has no problem letting Favre take time to think things through. “Would it be nice to know sooner rather than later? Yeah, but you have to be able to deal with ambiguity in this business whether you’re a coach or a player,” said Childress. The two spoke on the phone last week, but football was not the main topic of conversation. Instead, Brett Favre was working on putting fresh limestone on a road that leads to his mother-in-law’s house, which is on his property in Mississippi. “I hope he doesn’t jackhammer his foot or something while he’s out there pouring limestone,” Childress joked. But what’s not a joke is the fact that the Vikings need Favre under center to have another crack at reaching the Super Bowl. As we have come to know through the years, Favre’s decision will likely not come easy. Nevertheless, Brett Favre Betting Odds makers at SPORTSBOOK.com believe they can predict what the 40-year-old is going to do. According to what they posted, Brett Favre is more likely to return to play for the Minnesota Vikings for at least another year [5/7 or -140 ML], than he is to decide to call it quits and retire [1/1 or EVEN]. As for Favre’s decision-making process, well it has never been conventional. Last year, his decision to come back with Minnesota caused quite a stir. His back and forth decisions, kept everyone on their feet. Despite of missing all of the Viking’s offseason workouts, Favre went on the field and had one the best seasons of his career, leading Minnesota to the Super Bowl. Hopefully, football fans everywhere will have an answer from the three-time league MVP sooner than later. “I just think it’s important to manage a guy’s resources, particularly a 41-year-old,” Childress said. “There’s really not a manual on that, just like there’s not a manual for raising kids, there’s really not a manual for 40, 41.” Bet on Brett Favre Return Betting Odds and get a 50% Deposit Bonus & $25 Free Bet at Sportsbook.com, simply use promo code WIN100 and start winning today! |

2011 Superbowl Odds: Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints shocked the world by brining home the franchise’s first ever Superbowl title at the expense of Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. But even as people in the French Quarter celebrated a Vince Lombardi Trophy, by passing out beads and drinking booze, the rest of the league prepared for a chance to be in that very same position a year from now. This year’s runners up are no different. According to Indianapolis Colts’ team president, Bill Polian, the 2009-10 season is now a distant memory and it’s time to gear up for another title-run. “If you’re a professional, you recognize that what happens in this game is in the here and now, not the past. You focus on the future,” Polian said. “You focus on the task at hand. That’s what you are required to do, that’s what successful teams do.” But how good of a chance will the Colts have to get back to the big game and how will their loss in Miami affect them from a psychological standpoint? According to 2011 Superbowl Odds makers at BODOG.com, the Indianapolis Colts [7/1] have been listed as the sports betting odds favorites to finish the job and win the 2011 Superbowl. But if the Colts are to have a chance to play in February in back-to-back years there are going to have to be some changes done, contracts renegotiated and zero thoughts about what went wrong in Miami, Florida. “We’ll do what we can to improve and we’ll do it with the idea that every season is a new season,” Polian added. “There is no carryover. There’s no hangover, there’s no carryover, it’s a brand new season. We are well on the way to dealing with 2010.” Bet on 2011 Superbowl Odds at online sportsbook Bodog.com and receive a 10% Deposit Bonus and start winning today! |
