Florida Marlins Acquire LHP Nate Robertson: With less than a week left before the start of the 2010 Major League Baseball Regular Season, the Florida Marlins have added left handed starter, Nate Robertson from the Detroit Tigers for LHP Jay Voss, according to reports. Last season, Robertson finished with a 2-3 record and a 5.44 earned-run-average after starting six games and making 28 appearances out of the Tigers bullpen. Robertson is owed $10 million this year in the final season of a $21.25 million, three-year deal.

“I think it's a great situation for Nate. I assume he's going to be a starting pitcher there, which is what he wants to be,” said Detroit skipper and former Marlins manager, Jim Leyland.

“He's been nothing but a good soldier here over the years. We appreciate everything he's done for us,” Leyland added of Robertson. "I think this is a great opportunity for him and it unclogs the issue for us a little bit.”

What do you think are the Florida Marlins chances this season? By this I mean: what do you think are the Fish’s chances of winning the National League East Division, NL pennant and even capturing another World Series title?
