The Rockies did lose second baseman Kaz Matsui who went to Houston while the Padres signed Jim Edmonds to replace Mike Cameron in center and added second baseman Tadahito Iguchi. The Rockies now have Mark Redman and Franklin Morales in the rotation while the Padres picked up Randy Wolf to bolster the rotation.
