The Reds drew even in their four game set with Philadelphia last night, pulling out a 6-3 win at Citizens Bank Park. Cincinnati will attempt to secure a series draw tonight as they face two time Cy Young winner Roy Halladay. This evening's contest is scheduled to get underway at 7:05p.m. ET on ESPN. Sports Betting Odds have the Phillies listed as a heavy -200 moneyline favorite; the game total is set at seven with both the Over and Under drawing -110 odds.
The 26-23 Reds, which snapped a six 
game skid with yesterday's win, have figured out how to get on base against Roy Halladay, they just haven't mastered how to score runs against him. Halladay has given up 35 hits in 31.2 innings of work opposite Cincinnati, but he has only allowed 10 earned runs in that time, leading to an impressive 2.84 career ERA against the club.
It is unlikely that he will afford the Reds, which have averaged three runs per game in their last seven games, any more scoring opportunities tonight. Halladay, who is 6-3 on the year with a 2.21 ERA and 0.98 WHIP, is 4-1 in six home starts, in which he has walked five and struck out 41 in 43.2 innings pitched.
Halladay, who owns a 2.17 ERA in 19 appearances at Citizens Bank Park, has allowed more than two earned runs only two times all season.
Doc's impeccable track record, puts the onus of a good performance squarely on the shoulders of 24 year old lefty Travis Wood this evening as he gets the call from Skipper Dusty Baker. Wood, who will make his 11th start of the season tonight, has had an up and down year with four of his starts yielding at least four earned runs to the opposition. He has been more consistent of late, though, garnering a quality start in three of his last four outings.
Philadelphia (29-19) is 17-10 at home this season while the Reds have produced an 11-12 road record.
