Boston Red Sox Acquire Mark Kotsay from Atlanta Braves: The reigning World Series champion, Boston Red Sox just added some depth to their center field position by acquiring veteran CF Mark Kotsay from the Atlanta Braves. Tonight, the Red Sox are at Yankee Stadium, as they continue their series against the hated New York Yankees in game 2 of 3.

At SBGglobal.com, the New York Yankees are -118 betting odds favorites against the (-102) Boston Red Sox in game 2.

For Mark Kotsay, this will be the 5th different Major League team that he will have played for in his 11-year career (Marlins, Padres, Athletics, and Braves). But don’t feel too bad for the guy.

After all, Kotsay is going from one of the worse teams in MLB (Braves), to one of the top-contenders for a World Series title.

And even if the Red Sox don’t win another title, Mark has the beautiful Jamie Kotsay to comfort him in his time of pain. Yes, moving from state to state can be grueling and aggravating, but when you have a wife that looks like that (above)… “Hakuna-Matatah”.

The soon-to-be 33-year-old Kotsay is a career .282 batter, with 1,505 hits, 109 homeruns, and 597 RBI, in 5,335 career at-bats. The OVER/UNDER for tonight’s game 2 between the Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees has been set at a total of 10½ runs.
