LA Angels of Anaheim (1-2) vs. Boston Red Sox (2-1) ALDS Game 4 Preview: So far in this American League Division Series, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have looked like the lesser team against the defending World Series champion, Boston Red Sox. Last night the Angels struggled to fight off elimination at Fenway Park, but ultimately rallied in the 12th inning, and avoided an embarrassing sweep. The Angels can thank catcher Mike Napoli for having the best game of his playoff career when they most needed a lift.

In tonight’s game 4 from the Fen, odds-makers at LooseLines.com have the Boston Red Sox as (-140) ALDS MLB Online Sports Betting Odds favorites against the desperate LA Angels team (+120).

The Angels pull off a dramatic 5-4 victory over the Red Sox in 12 innings, but the story of the game was C Mike Napoli. Napoli hit a two-run blast in the 3rd inning and a solo shot in the fifth. But he wasn’t done yet. Napoli then singled to lead off the 12th before scoring the go-ahead run. It is hard to believe that with last night’s victory, the Halos put an end to a streak of 11 consecutive postseason losses to the Red Sox.

Here’s tonight’s pitching matchup: RHP John Lackey (12-5, 3.75 ERA) vs. LHP Jon Lester (16-6, 3.21 ERA). The OVER/UNDER for this ALDS game 4 game between the LA Angels vs. Boston Red Sox is set at a combined total of 8½ runs scored.
