The Arizona Diamondbacks' Brandon Webb appears to be on a mission to reclaim his Cy Young award back from San Diego's Jake Peavy, and on Thursday, Webb will aim for a 9-0 record when the Diamondbacks host National League West rivals Colorado at Chase Field in the final game of a three-game set. The MLB betting moneyline for Colorado Rockies vs Arizona Diamondbacks is Arizona Diamondbacks -160.

29-year-old Aaron Cook (6-1, 2.26) has been no slouch himself to start the season, as he has reeled off six wins in a row since a loss and no-decisions in his first two outings of 2008. Cook tossed a tColorado Rockies at Arizona Diamondbackshree-hit gem over seven innings of a 4-2 win at San Diego, allowing a single run while outduelling Peavy. Cook is well on his way to topping his career high for wins, which is nine, and all he has to do his remain consistent over the season, as the Major League Baseball campaign is a marathon. The seventh-year righthander made four starts against the Diamondbacks last season, coming away with a 1-0 record and an ERA of 5.63.

The 29-year-old Brandon Webb (8-0, 2.41) pitched his first complete game of the season in his last outing, giving up three runs on six hits in an 8-3 win at home over Philadelphia. Webb has gotten good run support from his offense lately, as the Diamondbacks have scored 18 runs in his last two starts. But Webb has done his part, as the opposition has scored more than four runs only once in Webb's eight starts this season. The 2006 Cy Young winner has already won two meetings with the Rockies this season, once at home and once on the road, and he has a low ERA of 1.80.

The Diamondbacks took the first game of this series on Tuesday, and have now won six of their last seven meetings with Colorado ahead of Wednesday's contest. Webb has been overpowering so far this season, and his teammates are following his lead. With the Diamondbacks at home, take Arizona to wrap up this series with a win on Thursday.
