by Reno Gold on Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

The No.10 ranked Indiana University Hoosiers (12-1,1-0 Big Ten) basketball team will be looking to extend their winning streak to nine games when they play the University of Michigan Wolverines (4-10, 0-2 Big Ten) on the road at Ann Arbor Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET (ESPN). The Hoosiers will hit the court against the struggling Wolverines without starting point guard Armon Bassett who is expected to sit out due to an ankle injury.

Michigan looks to end a four game losing streak against Indiana, the sixth ranked opponent the Wolverines will have faced this season.

College Hoops Picks: Indiana Hoosiers vs Michigan WolverinesOddsmakers at Sportsbetting.com have installed the Hoosiers as a 9 ½-point road favorite and a money line price of -560. The game total is holding at 139.

Indiana hasn’t been as good against the betting line as it has in SU wins going 5-5 ATS.

Michigan has been horrendous in covering the betting spread for backers going 2-10 (ATS) this season. Last time out the Wolverines picked up a rare cover (+11) in a SU 58-65 loss at Purdue.
