NBA Picks: Bucks vs Heat NBA Odds – February 1, 2010: American Airlines Arena in South Florida will be the sight for this NBA Picks contest between the visiting (20-25) Milwaukee Bucks [+6] taking on the sports betting odds favorite (24-23) Miami Heat [-6] tonight. Looking for some momentum going into the All-Star break, the Bucks will try to make it three in a row and improve on their current 5-18 road mark.
For the Heat, lack of consistency remains the big issue with this team that sports a home record of 13-11. This game will be the second of a home-and-home series, in which Milwaukee took the opener, 95-84. This NBA Picks game has a scheduled opening tipoff slated for 7:40 PM ET (6:40 PM CT) and the OVER/UNDER for the Bucks and Heat is set at 189.5 points.
The struggling Heat are now trying to avoid losing their fourth game in the last five. On Saturday at the Bradley Center, Dwyane Wade was just 6-of-20 from the field, as Miami shot just 37% as a team. Some are now saying that Charlie Bell, who handcuffed Wade in their last meetings, has something to do with the All-Star’s woes.
“I guess we got the D-Wade stopper on the team right now,” said first-year guard Brandon Jennings. “He did a real good job, but I think everybody did a good job showing help.”
Making matters worse for Miami, Wade ended up aggravating a back injury in that game. Listed as questionable for tonight’s ballgame, the Heat hope D-Wade can go, as well as Michael Beasley.“It was tight, but no doubt, I was able to play,” Wade explained. “The only thing I can do now is, hopefully, get some rest (Sunday). Hopefully, Monday, I'll be back. I'll be able to have my explosiveness back going to the basket.”
