The Jazz entertain the lottery bound Timberwolves as winners in 7 of their last 10 games. The addition of Kyle Korver has had a surprisingly big impact on the team as his knack for outside shooting has made The Jazz a much more dangerous team. All-Stars Deron Williams (19.1 points/10.1 assists per game) and Carlos Boozer (21.6 points/10.7 rebounds per game) have spurred Utah to a 39-22 record thus far. Andrei Kirilenko is also starting to get his head on straight after many issues last season with the organization and head coach Jerry Sloan. BetUS.com has the Utah Jazz as -14 point betting favorites in Minnesota Timberwolves vs Utah Jazz.
Minnesota may very well be the worst team in the NBA following the off season trade of Kevin Garnett. Al J efferson has been about the only bright spot, showing he is a star in the making by putting up 21.5 points and 11.7 rebounds nightly. Rashad McCants is also having a decent season going for 14.8 points per game and Ryan Gomes has also shown growth as a player. BetUS.com has the TOTAL for the Minnesota vs Utah game at 203.5 points.
Beating a team like Minnesota is a must for the Jazz as literally one loss can set you back a long way in the Western Conference. The Jazz have been an excellent bet at home this year going 27-11-1 ATS at home but the underdog is 6-2 ats in the last 8 games.
