Auburn Tigers vs Vanderbilt Commodores game at 3:15 PM ET today will mark the 3rd time in the past 4 years that these two teams have met in the 1st round of the SEC tournament. Auburn heads into the game as 8.5 point underdogs at BetUS.com against #17 ranked Vanderbilt. Auburn has dropped 10 of their last 12 games. These teams met early in the season when Vanderbilt won 78-71 on their home court but lost ATS as -11 point favorites. Vanderbilt owns the SEC player of the year Shan Foster who has torn through the division averaging 20.5 points per game aided by his outstanding 3-point shooting. Despite Auburn’s recent run of bad shooting, the team owns a win on February 26th over what many regard as the #1 team in the land in the Tennessee Volunteers. A lso despite Vandy’s terrific SU record of (25-6) the ATS records of these teams are almost identical with Vanderbilt at (15-15 ATS) and Auburn (9-11-1 ATS). Also despite Shan Foster’s impressive individual play, it should be noted that he has a 1-3 SU overall record in the SEC tournament. The winner of this game goes on to face Arkansas in the quarterfinals on Friday. BetUS.com has the TOTAL at 151 points for Auburn vs Vanderbilt.
