Syracuse advanced to play Connecticut in Thursday's quarterfinal round of the BIG EAST Tournament after defeating Seton Hall 89-74 in opening round tournament action on Wednesday. The Huskies, played the waiting game as they enjoyed a first-round bye. Tonight's game gives Syracuse a chance to redeem itself after the recent (Feb. 11) 63-49 pounding it received at the hands of the Huskies. Tonight's game will be televised by ESPN.

Sports-odds professionals at Sportsbook.com list Connecticut as 5-point favorites with a 145.5 total. The Huskies are -210 favorites on the Sportsbook.com moneyline while Syracuse backers are getting +175 moneyline odds.
In the Feb. 11 game between Connecticut and Syracuse, the Huskies covered the 12-point spread with its 14 point win. The UNDER cashed for backers on the total with only 112 points scored.In their game that day, the Huskies held the Orangemen to a season-low 49 points which was impressive considering Syracuse leads the Big East in scoring with 80.3 points per game.
The Huskies, who are trying to make a case for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, have not played since Saturday when they lost to Pittsburgh. The winner of this game will play the winner of today's Pittsburgh-West Virginia game.
