(14) North Dakota State vs. (3) Kansas NCAA Tournament Predictions: The Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis (MN) will be the sight for this NCAA Tournament Predictions, Midwest Region, first round matchup between the 3rd seeded Kansas Jayhawks (25-7, 14-2) taking on the 14th ranked North Dakota Bison (26-6, 16-2) this afternoon at 12:30 PM ET (9:30 AM PT).

As expected, the defending NCAA Champions, Kansas Jayhawks [-10, (-600)] come into this contest as the Sports Odds favorites against the North Dakota Bison [+10, (+450)], but barely by double digits.

“It’s kind of the one team they have in the state. There are no pro teams or anything like that,” said North Dakota center Lucas Moormann. “This is the one team they are always watching.” The OVER/UNDER for this, North Dakota State vs. Kansas NCAA Tournament Predictions has been calculated at a combined 144½ points.

The 14th seeded Bison face in uphill task against a bigger and better Kansas team, this afternoon. “We’ve had a great time with it to this point,” coach Saul Phillips said, “and we just want to keep playing games.”

In North Dakota’s first season in the Summit League, they came back from a double-digit deficit to beat Oakland in the conference championship. “After that Oakland game we saw ourselves on ESPN,” Woodside said. “And most high majors, you know, they probably turn the channel because they see themselves so many times. I think myself and our teammates, we watched it a couple of extra times just to get a good look at it.”

From last year’s NCAA Championship Kansas team, only point guard Sherron Collins and center Cole Aldrich are still around. Nevertheless, legendary coach, Bill Self has taken an inexperienced bunch back to the big dance, and that’s nothing to sneeze at. “I’m not sure our team could have been in the situations that it was in last year and been successful if they hadn’t been through the wars before. We know that,” Self said. “But also I do think we play a pretty difficult schedule, and it’s a pretty good league.”
